Hi everyone!
Happy New Year 2022! There are quite a few things that I need to highlight about the past year, as well as all my plans for 2022.
Hope you enjoy this post!
xx Natalia
Reflection on 2021

"Reflective thinking turns experience into insight"- John C. Maxwell
2021 has been a year full of ups and downs (even outside the whole pandemic situation), and in order to move into 2022, it is a good idea to take a step back to both reflect and plan carefully.
Last year, I remember sitting here and thinking about being quite far behind I was and how much I needed to get done in January.
"It is only the 11th day of the year, but there is a lot happening and a lot that needs to happen!"- My own words last year.
It is a great feeling knowing that this year I have worked much more efficiently and being more organised than ever. This time last year, I had completed 15 posts when now I have published 26 posts! I am very happy that I am not repeating the same mistakes from last year and that I have learnt to work more efficiently.
Since September, I have made many posts exploring the areas of analysis, research and investigation, as well as my own branding ideas and song selection.
I believe I have a clear idea of who my target audience is, and the message I want to convey through my music video, which will be key when it comes to filming and editing it.
Therefore, I am happy that I have gotten all the theory posts done and that I can now apply that theory and further research into building my music video idea!
Plans for 2022

"By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail"- Benjamin Franklin
I love this quote and I am inspired by it every day; I consider it to be very true and hence I will take its advice and tell you guys a little bit about this year's plans.
To-Do List :)
(ps: I'm a huge fan of to-do lists, I use them for everything!)

This is everything that I would like to do, I hope I will have time to do so!
Of course, there is one main issue this term...

So, my mock exams are quite dense as I take History and English Literature, both of which are content heavy and need a lot of notes done. However, I am currently studying according to plan and hopefully there will be time for everything.
This is one obstacle that I did not have last year, which meant that I focused on my media coursework a lot throughout January and February, making most of my posts in the second term. This year, I have a good heads-up on my past self but I will need to keep up the work nonetheless!
I have also planned a special surprise post about the meaning behind this project for me, so stay tuned to find out more!
