Hi everyone!
The Locations Reconnaissance has been long overdue! It is crucial to choose good settings that will make the music video more visually appealing, as well as help with the composition of the frame and the different shots I will use.
Here is a brief analysis of all the locations I am going to use- I want to have some varied ones without losing the narrative line, as well as without seeking impossible locations to use.
Hope you enjoy this post!
xx Natalia
Indoor Settings:
In terms of the indoor settings, I will mainly use:
My bedroom (we will have to remove my sister's bed and put a carpet to have more room)
Here, I will film the important dressing-up and choosing what fake personality my character wants to have that day, in front of a mirror, as well as the denouement with my character finally ripping off all the post-its with personality ideas and deciding to be herself

My bathroom, with special LED-fluorescent lights to have another type of dystopian feel in the dénoument
Here, I will film the turning point in the song, when the beat stops before the final chorus and my character is too exhausted to keep pretending everything is perfect.

Outdoor Settings:
An empty street in Colmenar Viejo (my town)
Here, I will film the chorus where my character walks down with her chosen outfit and personality, ready to face the day. I will do a montage with different outfits to create the idea of a long-standing routine.
I will film on a pedestrian street that has beautiful lines made by the trees and the lampposts.

Two other outdoor locations: one for the second chorus and the second one for the ending.
The second one will be in a busy city place or a calm park with perhaps a lake
The third one will be in another pedestrian street in Colmenar with a beautiful view of the sunset.
